So, whilst browsing . today at the reborn babies for sale, I instead found myself getting more and more frustrated.
Why is it so hard to find genuine reborns amongst the hundreds of Chinese fake ones.
Now it also baffled me how they could get away with charging these stupid prices for them
I mean would or does anyone actually pay this for them?
With making even the listing unpersonal by giving each doll a code, for me it just goes to prove how much it is a factory made doll.
These reborns are meant to be for collectors that want a handmade, one of a kind painted baby.
Not a factory produced, one style fits all type.
How does this give the dolls character.
One of the amazing things about reborns is the personality that each artist gives the baby they paint.
They can add special features and put in hours of painstaking work to make your little angel perfect for you.
Not just off of a factory warehouse line which produces identical babies.
I do understand that true reborn babies are exspensive, but if your pocket and bank account doesn’t stretch as far as you would like, and lets face it whos does, then there are still ways to get a real reborn.
One of these ways is to get a second hand reborn.
This way the quality of work is still great, but you are not paying the full price.
Another way is to look at boo boo babies.
These are babies that have slight imperfections, but still, for the most part look really good.
So please lets turn away from the Chinese dolls the will ruin our community and instead help our true reborn artists.
