Ok so there seems to be some confusion about the theme of the ID&TS 2022 banquet.
So I wanted to take a minute to explain again as simply as I can what the idea is.
And I have to say it is a super cool idea.
So the theme is Roaring 20s.
That means that your attire should fit this for the night.
The elegance that was the 20s will be so much fun to put together.
The Halloween twist was just that, a little something extra, a little twist.
It is not the main theme.
I will let event organiser Stacey explain futher.
“Hi everyone….We have had a bit of some confusion regarding the Awards Banquet theme and would like to take a moment to clear things up.
The Banquet is NOT Halloween themed.
It is the Roaring 20’s.
We ask that everyone attending please keep this in mind when selecting their attire.
Please do not dress in Halloween costumes.
Please keep to the 20’s theme.
We think having the theme set to Halloween night has led to the confusion that it will be Halloween themed.
We wanted to make the banquet theme to feel as if when you entered the ball room you were transported back in time to 1920, Halloween night, AT a masquerade ball.
We are now considering the possibility of not having the pumpkins on the tables.
We would like to know what the general consensus of the idea of having the pumpkin centerpieces is, or if we should remove Halloween altogether.
