Precious Dreams artist Ruth Annette has said that from 2022 her team and herself will no longer take private orders.
Instead it will be more a case of they will paint and create.
Once the baby is ready they will then be sold.
“Working on my Christmas Orders!!
I have made the conscious decision to NOT take any MORE private orders in 2022 ?”
With 2022 being the kind of year it was, and lots of stress being putbon an artist to create a dream doll this comes as no surprise.
Each artist loves the work they do, which is why when they do a custom or private order that it adds a lot of stress and worry to them.
Will the mum or dad like it?
Is there enough hair?
Should there be more hair?
Is the paintwork just how the new mum or dad wanted it?
So mant worries for the artist.
We will still look forward to seeing one of Ruths dolls and I still hope to own one one day.
