sweet Prototype Baby Azalea by Laura Lee Eagles!
Thank you so much dear Laura for this wonderful Baby and your confidence in my reborn work! Azalea is very realistic with a lot of perfect looking details. The whole doll kit is very babish and soft like a real baby.
She has full arms, full legs and a belly plate.
Coloring!
I´m painting with Genesis. Azalea has a natural – realistic coloring of a newborn baby. I use a lot of different layers of color. The finish is a varnish which is a protection against abrasion and UV light gives the skin a very fine structure . The eyebrows, Lanugo hair in the face are very tenderly designed and are also fine structured.
ROOTING
Now comes the time consuming part. The rooting. I roote in mono rooting process .This method yields the best result, because the hair looks like “grown”.Of course this also depends on the choice of mohair.
I use very fine Alpaka mohair in medium brown.
FILLING
Azalea has a fabric body with Laura,s signature. I have weighted with high-quality and non-toxic materials.
Arms, head, legs and body were filled with glass granules and Polyester cotton. Her little head needs to be supported.
The little mouse comes in 3 different outfits, headband, pacifier with magnet, pacifier chain, baby nest, cuddly toy of course new and selected with love.
