Hello! I am Tammy Annette, the artist behind Orange Blossom Babies.
I am proud to say I have been researching reborning and making/adopting my babies now for over six years and they are now all over the world!
I am part of an online school and community for reborn doll artists, so I continue to learn and grow in this craft.
Each reborn baby here at the nursery is handmade by myself by a meticulous process of painting many translucent layers of paint over the blank vinyl doll kit until it resembles the skin of a real live infant!
This process takes days to accomplish and includes blue and yellow undertones, several layers of different shades of “mottling”, veining, birthmarks ect.
Blushing is applied to all the right areas and I always apply matte varnish to deter shine.
Some places shine is necessary, so I add a satin varnish to tip the nails and add “moisture” to all the correct places 🙂
Only the highest quality products are used on my babies including:
Golden brand artist grade paints and sealants, Genesis sealants, Angel Silk fiber fill, Dust free glass beads for weight, BabyLocks mohair from germany, and Lausha german glass eyes.
Baby Ellory has been given a newborn flush skintone to make her look just born!!
I love how this effect turns out, she truly looks like a newborn baby.
After painting many layers of translucent paints your reborn baby is then ready for hair, this part is fun and really can add to their personality!
Hair can be painted or rooted.
Newborn baby Ellory has rooted hair in light slightly wavy dark baby brown by Baby-Locks.
This is top of the line mohair, very silky and very fine.
It looks like real thin baby hair.
It isn’t rough or frizzy.
I can honestly say, its my favorite brand of mohair for this reason.
Little sparse newborn eyebrows are painted on lightly to match the hair perfectly.
Her little eyelashes are also dark brown and match perfectly.
No details are overlooked in your sweet baby!
I weight the baby to feel like a real live infant when you cuddle them 🙂
So sweet Ellory is just a bit floppy because she is still so new and she will need her head supported as you lift and hold her.
She has been weighted with a double sealed bag of glass bead nestled within lots of super soft Angel Silk fiberfill.
She is So MUSHY GUSHY!!!
As real as she feels in your arms, you may not want to put her down!
This precious baby girl looks so alive I am sure you will fall in love with her 🙂

Prototype baby Ellory comes with a special Honey Bug Pacifier for reborn dolls.
This paci has a strong magnet in it and care should be taken around pacemakers and electronics.
