It is so sad when I have to share the news that a doll show has been cancelled.
All the work that goes into putting on a show, and the desire to make it something special means it is upsetting for all involved.
This time it is the South Australian doll guild inc show that has had to be cancelled.
Even though people will be sad by this news it does mean that people will have extra time to prepare and create even more.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that the committee has decided not to proceed with this year’s show.
There are just too many uncertainties as to what restrictions may be in place at the time of our show.
Perhaps we would be restricted on numbers allowed in?
That would make things very difficult.
Will there still be a second wave of the virus?
Traders who have already paid for tables will be contacted.
We hope that some of our workshops planned for this year can be done next year…
Yes, we will be back next year with some fun ideas in the making!

If you were looking forward to this show, as I am sure many of you were, then I know this news will be hard.
But let’s all look at this in a positive way.
Shows will come back, there are a few still to go and we all hope for the best.
When shows return in full it is going to be a time of great excitement.
