When we choose reborns that we like, we do so either by falling in love with a pre made baby or by ordering a custom baby.
One of the best things when you give your reborns a cuddle, if it has rooted hair is the touch the soft hair and smell that amazing baby smell that soothes our maternal instinct.
But buying a rooted haired baby does come with some problems of its own.
Firstly that silky soft lovely hair yoir baby had will not remain soft.
Each baby I have had with rooted hair ends up with the hair going coarse.
Now im not sure if it is something I am doing, although I honestly do not know what I could do differently.
I do not often style the babies hair and brush it with a toothbrush only a few times a month so that I do not damage it.
Which is yet another problem you could have with a rooted baby.
The hair can fall out over time, from your baby wearing hats or just laying down in cribs etc for a while
Each time you pick up your baby and place them back down it is rubbing a little at the hair.
Over time this could potentially cause the reborns hair damage.
I would love to hear if any of you have suggestions of how this can all be avoided.
These are certainly some of the issues with rooted babies and cuddles as much as you may want to, may have to be kept at a minimum.
